Born in the back-alleys of Mumbai in early 2017, Uncut Adda was conceived as a rebellion against sanitised mainstream television. Its first short — "Adda Nights" — was shot on a single Sony A7S over three weekends and uploaded as a test cut in May 2017. Within six months it had become a cult favourite among young metro viewers craving raw, unfiltered Indian storytelling.
